About Me

Born and raised in Ringsend, Dublin, as a child I loved drawing. This love was kindled through many creative art projects and portraits over the years.

It was only until last year that I, after a fulfilling 30-year career in business have taken the leap of faith to pursue my passion fulltime. My journey as an artist is self-taught, driven by an innate love for realism. My primary medium is oil paint, which allows me to create lifelike portraits that not only capture physical likeness but also aim to reveal the soul behind the eyes. While portraiture remains my primary focus, I also enjoy painting landscapes, seascapes, and animals, finding beauty in all facets of the world around us.

Although my professional artistic journey has started recently, I have already completed several commissions with overwhelmingly positive feedback and have sold a number of paintings featuring famous singers. One of my current projects is a series of portraits titled Music Icons, where I bring the likeness and spirit of legendary musicians to life.
